Discovering the Eje Cafetero

 EJE CAFETERO

Last year I had the oportunity to get to know the Eje Cafeterp and today I want to share it with you. The ploaces I visited were Manizales ,Quindio and Honda,Tolima.

TRAVEL

I traveled from the city of Bucaramanga in a copetran bus with my classmates. The trip lasted approximately 11 hours.the trip was very comfortable because the road was completely paved and

the trip felt shorter.

WE ARRIEVED

                         

The first place we visited was the Santa Rosa del cabal hot springs.This place has three pools, one sulfur, one mud and one with volcanic properties.It is 20 minutes from Manizales and it is a very clean and quiet place. It is said that some people go to meditate and draw bad energy to these places.

The second place we visited was the Manizales cable car, a very cheap means of transport for only 2,000 pesos transports it throughout the city.The people who live here frequent it because it is a fast and safe transport.

The third place was the coffee park. It is an amusement park with many attractions, to get on all of them it is necessary to go two days. the park is very large and the entrance is not expensive for all the attractions it has. approximately 60 thousand pesos.

Finally, back we visited Honda, a nearby town where it was very hot, all over the main park they sold ice cream, shaved ice and many cold things to enjoy. The beauty of this town is its cobbled streets and the architecture of the houses.

PEOPLE , FOOD AND WEATHER

In Manizales the people are very polite, you never hear the whistle of the cars unless it is an emergency.

The strets are very clean and people always greet you carefully.The food is delicious, the empanadas vayunas are very desirable, the coffee, the beans, the pasta are the typical foods of the region.

The Weather is temperate, it is always pleasant and allows you to see the sky in its splendor, according to Pablo Neruda Manizales is the factory of the sunsets.Possibly it will rain so it is advisable to bring an umbrella.The clothes you should wear are comfortable but not very uncovered, autumn type, to be able to enjoy the attractions without being cold.
